Fuquay - Varina kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Holly Springs by a score of 3-2. Fuquay - Varina has struggled against Holly Springs recently, as their match on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
