Lakota East waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Hamilton Big Blue by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win on Monday.

Lakota East's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hamilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
