It was a good run, but Minnetonka unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 68-61 to the Hopkins Royals. The Skippers were probably out for revenge after losing 83-81 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Minnetonka's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Hopkins, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minnetonka will challenge Wayzata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayzata knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 contests -- so hopefully Minnetonka likes a good challenge. As for Hopkins, they will face off against Buffalo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
