Old Fort has no trouble against St. Joseph Central Catholic

The Old Fort Stockaders had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 64-41 margin over St. Joseph Central Catholic. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Old Fort also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Old Fort's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucy King, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Alexis Ward, who scored 8 points along with 6 steals.
Old Fort's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Old Fort will take on St. Mary Central Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Calvert at 7:00 p.m.
