Volleyball Recap: High Tech SD Storm vs. Mission Bay Buccaneers
After flying high against San Diego on Tuesday, High Tech SD came back down to earth. The High Tech SD Storm lost 3-0 to the Mission Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Buccaneers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.
High Tech SD's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6. As for Mission Bay, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 20-18.
High Tech SD wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Mira Mesa on the 17th. After both having extra time off, Mission Bay and Scripps Ranch will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Mission Bay is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
