Football Preview: Dadeville Tigers vs. Valley Rams
The Dadeville Tigers will challenge the Valley Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dadeville will be hoping to continue their five-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Dadeville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Childersburg 54-16. With Dadeville ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Valley's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Holtville on Friday. Valley breezed by Beauregard to the tune of 28-0. That 28 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.
It was another big night for Tilyn Carrell, who rushed for 267 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Caden Foreman was another key player, throwing for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Dadeville's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
