Football Preview: Locust Grove Pirates vs. Adair Warriors
The Locust Grove Pirates will square off against the Adair Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Locust Grove didn't have too much trouble with Salina on the road as they won 52-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.
Titan Hix was a one-man wrecking crew for Locust Grove as he rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Zander Messer was Hix's top target, picking up 165 receiving yards.

The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Mccord, who rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
Locust Grove's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Adair, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
