Soccer Game Preview: Seagoville vs. Adamson

Seagoville hasn't had much luck against Adamson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Seagoville Dragons are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Adamson Leopards at 7:30 p.m. Seagoville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Seagoville's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Granbury 1-0. The Dragons wouldn't have won without Jonathan Hernandez, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Adamson's offense. They came up short against North Mesquite on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seagoville now has a winning record of 1-0-2. As for Adamson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Seagoville might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Adamson when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can Seagoville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
