Volleyball Recap: Stanley-Boyd Beats Stratford for Their Third Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stanley-Boyd had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Stratford Tigers 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Orioles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kelly Lew paced Stanley-Boyd's offense, picking up 16 kills. Lew got some help from Bailey Sikora and her 32 assists. Lew also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Prahl, each putting up four.

Stanley-Boyd's win bumped their record up to 41-4. As for Stratford, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 22-11 record.

Looking ahead, Stanley-Boyd will take on Barron on Thursday. Stratford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
