Baseball Recap: Miami Takes a Loss

Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Superior Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vandals of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Miami saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Doss, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Superior, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami will welcome Chandler Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Superior, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bagdad at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
