Northfield had won ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Southern Wells Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Norsemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emily Miller paced Northfield's offense, picking up 12 kills. Miller got some help from Brinlei Swihart and her 27 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Southern Wells fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Sydney Alstoft and Kaylee Davis certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Alstoft had ten digs and two aces, while Davis had 19 digs. Alstoft is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 21 every time she's taken the court this season.

Northfield has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against South Adams on the 23rd. Southern Wells has also already played their next match (against Union City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
