Volleyball Game Preview: Genesis Academy Genesis vs. Trinity Classical

The Genesis Academy Genesis will head out to square off against Trinity Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Genesis Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Central Georgia Arts by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Genesis Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 24-26, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Trinity Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch back in September as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lumpkin County.

Trinity Classical's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Genesis Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Genesis Academy beat Trinity Classical 3-1 when the teams last played back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Genesis since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
