Softball Game Preview: Tecumseh Indians vs. Chelsea Bulldogs

Tecumseh is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Monday. They will head out to face off against the Chelsea Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, Tecumseh came up short against Riverview and fell 8-3. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Kennedi Fulton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits.

On the hitting side, Kohlee Musselman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Laura Nadeau, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Chelsea got the win against Lincoln on Wednesday by a conclusive 16-9. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Railsplitters: they've now won five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tecumseh fell to 2-1. As for Chelsea, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Tecumseh might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Chelsea in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
