Softball Recap: Lamphere Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lamphere had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Ferndale Eagles on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Brooke Harrison (2025) was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Harrison (2025) was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Aliana Martinez (2026) was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Faithlynn Donegan (2025), who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Lamphere was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ferndale only posted a batting average of .133.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-9. As for Ferndale, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamphere will square off against Clawson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ferndale, they will challenge Oak Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
