Soccer Recap: Dudley Takes a Loss

Dudley fought the good fight in their overtime match against Northeast Guilford on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. Dudley have struggled against Northeast Guilford recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Dudley's goal came courtesy of Alfreda Mbayoh, which was the first she's scored this season.

Dudley's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Northeast Guilford, they moved to 6-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Dudley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against High Point Central on the 30th. As for Northeast Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 defeat against Atkins on the 1st.
