Baseball Recap: Kilgore Takes a Loss

Kilgore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Daingerfield Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since March 18th.

Kilgore saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Hendrickson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Devin Tinney was another, earning one run and three stolen bases.

Kilgore's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17-1. As for Daingerfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6-1.

Kilgore has already played their next contest (against West Rusk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Daingerfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
