Volleyball Recap: Chandler Takes Down Ranked Millennium

Chandler faced Millennium in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won three matches in a row.

Chandler walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-17.

Jacob Mayer paced Chandler's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mayer got some help from Carter DiMickele and his 27 assists.

Chandler's win bumped their record up to 20-11-1. As for Millennium, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-14 record this season.

Chandler has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Perry on the 1st. As for Millennium, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Shadow Ridge on the 1st.
