Eldred had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Livingston Manor Wildcats by a score of 52-42 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Eldred got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trai Kaufmann out in front who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Kaufmann has scored at least a third of Eldred's points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Deyermond, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Eldred's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Livingston Manor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
