Baseball Recap: Proctor Academy Comes Up Short

Proctor Academy lost against St. Paul back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets fell 8-4 to the Big Red. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Proctor Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Neilon, who went 3-for-4 with two runs. Neilon has become a key player for the Hornets: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Aidan Myers was another, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Proctor Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for St. Paul's, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Proctor Academy nor St. Paul's have any future games scheduled.
