Softball Recap: Devine Warhorses vs. Highlands Owls
While Devine put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Highlands. The Devine Warhorses put the hurt on the Highlands Owls with a sharp 7-0 win. The Warhorses have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.
Maddie Brown and Sam Zamora did most of the damage at the plate: Brown went a perfect3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Zamora went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Kenny Cruz was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
