Softball Recap: Madison Central Takes a Loss

Madison Central lost against Brandon back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Madison Central Jaguars took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brandon Bulldogs. The loss was the Jaguars' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madison Central fell to 2-1. As for Brandon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Madison Central Jaguars duke it out with Northwest Rankin Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Rankin's pitching crew has only allowed 0.4 runs per game this season, so Madison Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Brandon, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Pike at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
