Volleyball Recap: Kings Mountain Gets the Win

Kings Mountain saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Spring Valley Vikings by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

Denet Houey paced Kings Mountain's offense, picking up nine kills. Houey got some help from Camden Pasour and her 13 assists. Abigail Hedgepath controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Kings Mountain's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Kings Mountain has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Union County on the 15th. As for Spring Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against South Iredell on the 15th.
