Baseball Recap: Starmount Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forbush, Starmount was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over the West Davidson Dragons.

Hayden Royal spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

The win got Starmount back to even at 3-3. As for West Davidson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Starmount didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Thomasville on the 13th. As for West Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Ragsdale on the 13th.
