Basketball Game Preview: Lawrence-Nelson Raiders vs. Rock Hills Grizzlies

The Lawrence-Nelson Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Rock Hills Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Lawrence-Nelson needed a bit of extra time to put away Giltner. They snuck past the Hornets with a 27-21 victory.

Addison Mccloskey was Lawrence-Nelson's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Maddy Laughlin took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Meanwhile, everything went Rock Hills' way against Stockton on Monday as Rock Hills made off with a 50-27 win. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Lawrence-Nelson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Rock Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Lawrence-Nelson suffered a grim 51-30 defeat to Rock Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Lawrence-Nelson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
