Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Bede). They strolled past the Putnam County Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-59. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bruins also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

St. Bede has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Putnam County, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

After both having extra time off, St. Bede and Midland will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Putnam County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newman Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
