Cedar Key skates past Countryside Christian with ease

The Cedar Key Sharks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Countryside Christian at home to the tune of 60-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cedar Key.
Cedar Key's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sammy Cannon, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cannon has scored all season. Micah DeHaven was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Cedar Key's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Countryside Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Cedar Key has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Saints at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. St. John Lutheran is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Countryside Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th. One thing working in Aucilla Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
