Volleyball Recap: Rangely Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Rangely entered their tilt with Olathe on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Rangely was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18, 15-8.

Addison Scott paced Rangely's offense, picking up 11 kills. Scott got some help from Rylee Kenney and her 19 assists. Kenney also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Isabella Cox, each putting up five.

Despite the loss, Olathe had strong showings from Aundrea Garcia, who had 18 digs and one block, and Alexandria Avila, who had 14 digs, five kills, two aces, and one block. That block marked the first that Garcia has had this season.

The victory got Rangely back to even at 10-10. As for Olathe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Rangely will face off against Plateau Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olathe, they will challenge Center at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
