Softball Game Preview: Franklin County Tech Eagles vs. Turners Falls Thunder

The Franklin County Tech Eagles will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Turners Falls Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Franklin County Tech is leaving town to face Turners Falls after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Eagles came up short against Greenfield on Tuesday, falling 12-3.

Franklin County Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Duncan, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Turners Falls had already won seven in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. Everything went their way against the Blue Devils as they made off with an 11-0 victory.
