Basketball Game Preview: Wiregrass Kings vs. Oaks Mighty Oaks

The Wiregrass Kings will be taking part in a tournament against the Oaks Mighty Oaks at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Wiregrass knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Oaks likes a good challenge.

While Wiregrass didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Southwest Georgia STEM Charter 77-61 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Oaks had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 65-54 victory over Success Unlimited Academy on Thursday. The squad ran away with 55 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Wiregrass' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
