Baseball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne fell victim to Fairport and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Red Raiders. The Pioneers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Wayne's record is now 3-11. As for Fairport, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne will venture away from home to challenge Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairport, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Webster Schroeder at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
