Basketball Recap: DeKalb County Comes Up Short

DeKalb County managed to slip by Tullahoma the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The DeKalb County Tigers were outmatched by the Tullahoma Wildcats and fell 61-34. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-13.

It was another big night for Xavier Farrell, who went 10-for-17 to rack up 27 points and four steals for Tullahoma. The contest was Farrell's ninth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khani Johnson, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 15 points.

DeKalb County dropped their record down to 9-20 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Tullahoma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-4.

As of now, neither DeKalb County nor Tullahoma have any future games scheduled.
