Baseball Game Preview: Converse Wildcats vs. Joaquin Rams

The Converse Wildcats will challenge the Joaquin Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Joaquin took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Converse, who comes in off a win.

Converse picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over North Caddo. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Joaquin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to Varsity Opponent.

Joaquin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Graves, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Converse's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Joaquin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Converse couldn't quite get it done against Joaquin when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 5-2. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
