Softball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Shepard Astros

Reavis hasn't had much luck against Shepard recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will head out on the road to take on the Astros at 4:30 p.m. Reavis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Hinsdale Central hit Reavis with a four-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 11-4 to the Red Devils.

Lily Fish was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Kenzie Welsh was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Shepard came up short against Lemont on Saturday and fell 13-10.

Shepard now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Reavis, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
