            Softball Recap: Williamson Warriors vs. Line Mountain Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Williamson won the last time they faced Line Mountain and things went their way  on Monday too. Williamson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-1  win over Line Mountain.
 Kenna Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  Kaegen Short was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joelie Stephens, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Short wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Williamson  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Line Mountain only managed five  hits.
Williamson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Line Mountain, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamson will host Canton  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Line Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Juniata  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
