Baseball Recap: Clarke County Comes Up Short

Clarke County had taken Jackson down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 23-13 to the Aggies. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost three in a row.

DaMyon Horn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Kelly, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Clarke County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Jackson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
