Hoxie came tearing into Monday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Ellis Railroaders as they made off with a 48-23 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Hoxie pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ellis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Hoxie will host Phillipsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Phillipsburg will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Hoxie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ellis, they are taking a road trip to square off against Plainville on Thursday.
