Mountain Grove lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Van Buren, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Panthers blew past the Bulldogs 13-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Panthers have won three contests by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hannah Dowden looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Chloe Slagle was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Stella Benson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4.

The victory got Mountain Grove back to even at 3-3. As for Van Buren, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Mountain Grove will venture away from home to face off against Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Van Buren, they will face off against Bakersfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
