Baseball Recap: C.H. Yoe Comes Up Short

C.H. Yoe suffered their biggest loss since March 22, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls, falling 15-7. The loss was the Yoemen's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, C.H. Yoe fell to 2-1. As for Anderson-Shiro, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Looking ahead, C.H. Yoe will face off against Yoakum at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will take on Bridge City in a tournament on Saturday. Bridge City's pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so Anderson-Shiro's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
