Baseball Recap: Bowman Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Bowman Academy had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-7 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the 21st Century Charter Cougars 11-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

As for 21st Century Charter, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For 21st Century Charter's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Robinson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Bowman Academy and 21st Century Charter will both be playing East Chicago Central the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
