Basketball Recap: Mehlville Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Mehlville Panthers came up short against the Poplar Bluff Mules and fell 51-40. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Mules are ranked 188th).

Mehlville now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Poplar Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Mehlville will be playing at home against St. Clair at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poplar Bluff, they will challenge Holcomb at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
