Helias strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jefferson City Jays 49-14. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Jays are ranked 124th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Helias' win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Jefferson City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Helias is set to take on their familiar foe Smith-Cotton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson City will face off against rival Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
