Volleyball Recap: South Caldwell Has No Trouble Against Eastern Guilford

It's playoff time, and South Caldwell had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Eastern Guilford Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Caldwell was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12, 25-15.

Faith Raby paced South Caldwell's offense, picking up ten kills. Raby got some help from Riley Powell and her 18 assists. Powell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

South Caldwell's record now sits at 13-9. As for Eastern Guilford, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16.

South Caldwell has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Southeast Guilford on the 21st. Eastern Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
