Baseball Recap: Texas City Takes a Loss

Texas City's tournament run continued when they took on Cinco Ranch on Thursday. The Texas City Stingarees fell 7-4 to the Cinco Ranch Cougars.

Texas City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cinco Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Texas City and Cinco Ranch's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Texas City and Clear Brook (who has only given up 3.29 runs per game) will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch will face off against Clear Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, a squad that's only allowed four runs per game.
