Spring Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Riverside Warriors 6-1. It was an even better day for Filip Jessen as he scored three goals for his team.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Valley will venture away from home to face off against Boyd County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Riverside, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
