Franklin Community won the last time they faced Beech Grove, and Kolt Nelson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs snuck past the Beech Grove Hornets with a 35-30 victory on Friday thanks in part to Nelson, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played.

Beech Grove's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bishop Moore, who posted six points and ten rebounds, and Jasaum Sowell, who put up six points.

The win got Franklin Community back to even at 4-4. As for Beech Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Franklin Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-42 loss against Bloomington North on the 21st. As for Beech Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-33 defeat against Roncalli on the 21st.
