Softball Recap: Pleasant Hope Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Pleasant Hope finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Miller Cardinals, falling 12-0. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Pleasant Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Miller, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Pleasant Hope has already played their next match, a 15-10 loss against Springfield Catholic on the 29th. As for Miller, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-1 victory against Steelville on the 29th.
