Meanwhile, Sandy Spring Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Bishop Loughlin.

The victory got Our Lady of Good Counsel back to even at 6-6. As for Sandy Spring Friends, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
