Basketball Recap: Cloverleaf Wins Going Away Against Field

Cloverleaf won the last time they faced Field and things went their way on Tuesday too. The stars were shining brightly for the Cloverleaf Colts in a 70-52 victory over the Field Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Cloverleaf has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for Field, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloverleaf will take on Woodridge in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cloverleaf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Woodridge likes a good challenge. As for Field, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Streetsboro at 7:00 p.m. Streetsboro will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Field surely won't give up without a fight.
