Basketball Recap: Piute Comes Up Short

Piute was the 62-61 winner over Whitehorse when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Piute Thunderbirds took a hard 51-37 fall against the Whitehorse Raiders on Friday. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piute's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Whitehorse, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Piute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitehorse, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bryce Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
