Verona waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Baraboo Thunderbirds. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunderbirds, too.

Macy Stremlow paced Verona's offense, picking up eight kills. Stremlow got some help from Anna Haines and her 14 assists. Haines was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Baraboo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Verona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Tomah on the 29th. As for Baraboo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Big Foot on the 29th.
